Matt, a partner
at BOYNECLARKE LLP, runs Atlantic Canada's largest legal team focused on
personal injury. He and his wife, Jan, have three children and reside
in Halifax.

Erin Carter Paralegal (Case Manager)
Erin is responsible for managing the implementation of case strategic plans and coordinating the workflow in carrying out these objectives. In addition, Erin provides paralegal support which includes such duties as drafting court documentation; arranging the issuance and service of court actions; overseeing court limitation periods and deadlines; conducting file reviews and assessments; interviewing clients and witnesses; and attending statement takings. Erin received a B.A. degree in Political Science from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1993. After first working with BOYNECLARKE LLP as a student in 1995, Erin went on to receive her Paralegal Diploma (Honours) from the University College of Cape Breton in 1996. Over her years with the firm, Erin has worked in Litigation and has specialized in Personal Injury. In addition to working at BOYNECLARKE LLP, Erin is presently completing the Certified Insurance Professional courses through the Insurance Institute of Canada.

Robert Carter
Bob, a partner at BOYNECLARKE LLP, focuses his practice on personal injury, civil litigation and insurance litigation. Bob and his wife (his childhood sweetheart) have two children.

Michelle Flick Legal Assistant
Michelle joined Matthew Napier's team as a legal assistant from day one of joining BOYNECLARKE LLP in 2001. Michelle has 16 years experience as a legal assistant, primarily in personal injury, following her graduation from the Dartmouth Community College where she received her Legal Administrative Assistant diploma. Michelle assists Bob Carter and Matt Napier with general correspondence, documentation relating to personal injury cases, file management and general office procedures. She is always busy and could not ask for better lawyers to work for or colleagues to work beside.

Peter A. Flett Litigation Analyst
Peter joined the Napier Legal team at BOYNECLARKE LLP as a Litigation Analyst in January of 2004. Peter assists lawyers Matthew Napier and Robert Carter with respect to evaluation, assessment and investigation of liability and damages associated with personal injury litigation.
Peter has worked as an insurance adjuster, claim supervisor and Technical Specialist for property and casualty insurance companies since 1985. He began his career in Boston, Massachusetts, then relocated to Moncton, New Brunswick and finally to Halifax, Nova Scotia. Peter has dealt with personal injury damages in all four maritime provinces involving claims that arose from use and operation of an automobile, commercial general liability and homeowners liability.
A graduate of Mount Allison University in 1984, where he earned a B.A. degree in Political Science and History, Peter earned an Associateship in the Insurance Institute of Canada in 1994 and is presently a Certified Insurance Professional (CIP).
Peter met his wife at Mount Allison University; they have two teenage daughters who are actively involved in soccer, horseback riding, guitar and competitive table tennis. Peter enjoys fishing, sailing, home repair and construction as well as restoring classic cars.

Allison Harris Paralegal (Case Manager)

In addition to working at BOYNECLARKE LLP, Allison is also presently studying at Mount Saint Vincent University in order to obtain her B.Sc. degree in Psychology.

Colleen Hatt Legal Assistant
Colleen joined Matt Napier's Team in April of 2011, bringing three years of experience as a paralegal/assistant to the position following graduation from the Maritime Business College Paralegal Program as a follow up to her Bachelor of Arts degree from Mount Saint Vincent University. She assists with general correspondence, documentation relating to personal injury cases, file management and general office procedures.

Carrie became part of Matthew Napier's team when she joined BOYNECLARKE LLP in 2004 as a Legal Assistant for Robert Carter and then also for Matthew Napier, Q. C. She came with over two years experience as a legal assistant, primarily in personal injury and criminal matters. Carrie attended CompuCollege where she received her Legal Administrative Assistant Diploma. Carrie has lived in Nova Scotia her whole life. She loves working as part of the Napier Legal Team and could not ask for better lawyers to work for or colleagues to work beside.

| | Cara MacLeod Legal Assistant Cara became part of Matthew Napier's team when she joined BOYNECLARKE LLP in 2011 as a Legal Assistant for Robert Carter. She came to the Team with experience as a legal assistant from a firm in British Columbia, and had previously been a teacher. Cara has returned to her roots in Nova Scotia.

John McKim Associate Lawyer
John joined BOYNECLARKE LLP in 2006. His past legal practice experience includes 16 years with Patterson Palmer in Truro and 6 years with Fennell Rudden in Cornwall Ontario. His focus is on personal injury and insurance law litigation. John grew up in Ottawa, attended St. Francis Xavier University (playing Rugby) and Dalhousie University Law School. John's past experiences include working as a high school teacher, lobster fisherman, RCMP officer (Law student program) and Crown Attorney (part-time). He currently resides in Truro, Nova Scotia with his wife Ann and children Sean (age 11) and Sarah (age 18 - Mount Allison University student), and is a avid golfer, basketball coach and kayaker, constructing his own sea kayaks. John sings with the Truro Cantabile Singers, volunteers with the local Truro Soup Kitchen (Kanes Kitchen) and Truro Music Festival, and has been involved with Habitat for Humanity (traveled to El Salvador for the March 2004 build).

Nicole Murphy on maternity leave Legal Assistant
Nicole joined Matt Napier's Team in September of 2007 after completing the Legal Administrative Assistant Program at CompuCollege. Nicole assists with general correspondence, documentation relating to personal injury cases, file management and general office procedures. She is originally from Pomquet, Antigonish County but now resides in Shubenacadie with her husband. She loves playing all types of sports, going to movies and relaxing with family and friends. She is always busy and could not ask for a better lawyer to work for or colleagues to work beside.

David was admitted to Nova Scotia Barristers' Society in June 2008. He received his B.Sc from Acadia University, Wolfville, NS in 2003. He received a Spanish Language Certificate from the Universidad de Salamanca, Salamanca Spain in 2002. David completed his LL.B at Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS in 2007.

Ansley
was born and raised in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. In 2005 she received
her B.A.(Honours) from Acadia University with a major in psychology, and
completed her LL.B at Dalhousie University in 2009. She was admitted
to the Nova Scotia Bar in June 2010.
Ansley is a Director of the
Metro Community Housing Association and she is also an active
participant on BOYNECLARKE's Dragon Boat team as well as a player in the
Metropolitan Senior Women's Soccer League.
